The past few days in Sydney have been interesting. The place is nice, but I don't think as nice as Melbourne. Still a nice change of scene though. It looks like I'm enrolling in linuistics, Japanese, philosophy and pyschology. Yay! The USyd campus is beautiful!! The quadrangle is absolutely amazing. It's like a little town of it's own with a range of new and historical buildings. Very purty indeed.
That's not all that has made this trip exciting. I've scoped out one church which I quite like called Grace Christian Church. A family friend of mine brought me and I enjoyed it. Went out for lunch with people after then toured campus with anoher churchie friend. Then today I ran around campus AGAIN to do stuff necessary for enrolling. Did that for almost 6 hours. Ugh. Was in a pretty bad mood afterward, but I'm over it.
Then again, that's not all that made this trip interesting. Tonight after dinner, I was playing Magic: Battlegrounds on the fam friends comp with we chit chatted. Then we heard an outburst from the kitchen and soon realize that Chris was, yet again, stirring trouble. I explained to the fam friend the situation and everything and we had a really good long talk cross bible study about it all. After, she prayed for me and then got told off by her dad for keeping me up so late. Haha. Good stuff.
(NIV) 1 Corinthians 4:5
Therefore judge nothing before the appointed time; wait till the Lord comes. He will bring to light what is hidden in darkness and will expose the motives of men's hearts. At that time each will receive his praise from God.
God, let me see through your eyes for just a moment to see him in your glory.
Give me compassion to see his circumstances and see through his eyes.
Change me and work through me to change his life. Refresh my mind and let me forgive past hurts to let you use me.
Amen.

More on offers and shit...
I forgot to mention my offer xD
Yeah, for those of you interested, I got arts at Melbourne. But I'm not taking it, 'cause I'm probably going to Sydney. I'm glad I got arts, because it gives me more reason to go to Sydney. If I stay I'd do arts at Melbourne and nursing externally with UniSA, but that would take around 5 years I reckon, while if I go to USyd I can do the arts/nursing program which is 4 years and I graduate with masters! Whoot.
Yes. =)
I'm hungry. I should eat something.

Offers and shit...
Oh yay! Offers today. Hope everyone got what they wanted, congrats congrats. =)
The weekend has been pretty busy, because a family friend from Perth is visiting.
Yeah, I wanted to talk about something, but SHHET! I can't remember what.
Okay, well I will post when I remember. Or maybe I'll remember when I post next...
Oh, the irony...
只怕我自己會愛上你
不敢讓自己靠得太近
怕我沒什麼能夠給你
愛你也需要很大的勇氣

I am happy.
I was talking to a friend and also the rentals on the way home from a friend's place tonight and I said that I am happy with the way my year 12 went.
And I am. I am very happy. I spread my wings and tested the waters, while trying (perhaps not as much as I might have if I hadn't experienced everything that I did, but that said, I definitely gained more from these other experiences than anything that could contribute to my ENTER)
I'm glad 2009 has ended positive and that I can say in retrospect that I most probably wouldn't have it any other way. Thank you all for making my final year of high school one of the best years of my life so far. =)
This year is another step forward into the unknown, a place outside my comfort zone where comfort and familiar faces are scarce! Oh, but the excitement!! I will tackle this year head-on and get stuck into it. Because it is going to be another awesome year.
Yayy! Okay. I need sleep.

OMGOSHNESS I'M 18!
Oh yeah! Today was a busy day.
Spent most of it at hospital with him, because he had a procedure done at Epworth. While he was actually getting it done, she and I went shopping on Bridge Road to find a dress for her to wear at Nick's wedding. YAY. Didn't get one, but looked around. I bought a t-shirt from a store called EcoWear. It's made out of bamboo fibres! How cool. It is quite the comfortable.
Later we got back to the hospital and had to wait another 2+ hours, because he had to recover from going under and so we just bummed around the hospital.
Then I went uber late to meet some friends at Crown, where we met up and went to play a bit of pool... then ate gelati... then I exercised my right as being no longer a minor and GAMBLED!!! *gasp-shock-horror* yes. I played with a great amount of $2 and sadly lost $2. Actually I lost $3 because I invested $1 in Jessie, who ALSO lost my money. MEH!
After I also went uber late to dinner to meet up with Chinese school friends. I'm so sorry I went so late!! Ahh. Didn't even do anything. Just ate icy poles and sat outside the toilet. When we finally decided to try to get into the bowling alley to play pool, we barely had enough people to sneak in an under-18. >_< We had 1 person who was under 18 and 3 not, but they checked us all for ID. It was open bar...that's why no under 18s. It's not like we were drinking or anything... just wanted to play some pool, damnit! Rargh!
Tomorrow is somewhat busy too...
Swimming
Baking
Driving lesson
Doctor's appointment
(NOTE TO SELF!! Write a plane letter for Jessie and EJ.)
OH. And offers from SA and Queensland come out. Yipee?
Okay. GOODNIGHT.

NEW YEAR!
Okay, this post is WAY overdue.
And I apologize for somewhat giving up on the daily thing, but let me explain. When it got to Christmas period, I was working unearthly hours and didn't want to stay up any later to blog. And I apologize for that.
Anyways, MERRY CHRISTMAS.
GOOD LUCK SHOPPING ON BOXING DAY!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Welcome 2010. A new year.
=)
So much (sort of) has happened in the past few weeks. I know there is stuff that I want to update on but can't exactly remember.
He is doing well and being discharged next week and on Wednesday he has a minor (I think) surgery. His hand was a bit more swollen than usual today, but I sat down and helped massage it for him. She started work again. I'm not getting shifts at Big W, so I'm applying for another job.
Oh, my ankle swelled up the other day. Couldn't walk very well afterward, so I went to see the docs, who couldn't find anything wrong, so just did some tests and made an appointment for next week.
New years resolutions:
-Exercise everyday... (Sorta? Not really. Just got a exercise bike from a friend, so on the days I don't swim, I'll just bike while I watch some TV show....when my ankles feeling up to it. XD)
-READ A BOOK A WEEK. (Starting on Monday... xD)
-Clean ROOM. Reorganize room. Hopefully/maybe getting a couch in room. =D
-WORK MORE. MAKE MONEY.
In terms of university courses, I'm just gonna say I'm somewhat undecided about where I'm going. I've made up my mind, I think, but it's now just a white elephant in my home. Hmm. Don't know what to make of it, and don't know how to talk about it, because it just makes everything tense. I feel tense whenever university is brought up by or in front of my parents... I'm just waiting for offers, then I'll announce my decision. From everything I've been saying about university, it seems like I've been jumping back and forth from different ideas and I think I'm probably going to stick to my guns. =)
OKAY. FAREWELL. GOODNIGHT.
