Long time no see?

Hello hello.

Blog time? Haha, long time no blog, my apologies.

Not gonna write about much, but I'll just update on life.

Uni is getting more and more hectic. *sigh* I can't wait until next semester when we do better stuff... at the moment we're doing all the small science-y stuff and it is quite off-putting. Hopefully I'll pass this semester... and next so that I can move on and do fun stuff. =)

My brother's wedding was purrtiful, but wayyy too much drama on the wedding night. o_o Exciting, but totally unnecessary.

I'm going back to Melbourne on the 17th of December and flying back up to Gold Coast on the 14th of January. Somewhere in that span, I'll be going to Sydney for a couple of days, possibly my birthday. I hope I'll be able to catch up with everyone. *sigh*

New York trip is in the planning. Possibly next April/May if not, a year from now (December break).

I really need to call people, because I have not been talking with people recently, and I apologise for that. =(

Anyways. That will be all for my lame excuse of a blog post. Biochemistry beckons.

Ba-donka-donk. Dead blog, much? Much, much?

That's my first line to my history taking... I'm scared that one day I'm going to accidentally blurt that out when I first meet someone. *sigh*

Well... exams are coming up and I feel so screwed. I'm studying week 2 stuff and we're about to be in our 12th week with exams just around the corner. Oh. Shite. This coming week, I also have a history taking assessment. Double shite. Haha, oh wells.

I'm heading back to Melbourne on the 18th next month just after my exam and I'll be back for a bit less than a month. =) Yay.

Ooooh! I'm changing cap at the moment. I've already got the phone and stuff but my number is still porting over to Crazy John's. =) Unlimited cap, so if you wanna call me, just prank me and I'll call back =D Whee. N900. Double whee!!!

Okay. I really should study. When I have something meaningful to say, I'll blog again.

When on the Gold Coast...

Lahh! Hello hello, my lovelies.

I've been in a generally good mood in the past couple of weeks and all. Uni is pretty cool and the workload is still surprisingly light. This coming week is a 3 day week. We're thinking probably going to Movie World and on Friday we're gonna go for PHO for lunch! Whoooo!!! I'm excited. I'm sooo excited for pho.

For PBL on Friday, I presented on mitosis and meiosis and I got really nice feedback =) I was pretty happy with it, but it was like the only PBL I've actually PREPARED PREPARED for....that's why I volunteers. Hehe.

I've found this guy on youtube (khanacademy) and I'm actually watching on of his videos right now and it's really cool. It's all educational and stuff, so I'm watching one on DNA, chromosomes and stuff. Whoo. Fun fun. Not.

Gotta learn the amino acids. *sigh*

ANYWAYS. AWAY FROM THE BORING STUFF.

Life has been really good. I've been really enjoying the company of the people I've met up here. But the thing is I think I'm not talking to Melb peeps often enough. =\ Sorry if I haven't talked to you for a while...

AND EJ AND NATHAN. FREAKING. A. We're an hour away from each other and we STILL haven't met up. THE HECK. Geeeez. =P

Closer to confusion...

Again, this is going to be a really random short-ish post.

Today was first clinical skills and I had a clinical consultation skills session.... FAILED SO HARD. ZOMGOSH. Got fully pwned by this tutor/lecturer dude. ZOMGOSH. ZOMGOSH. Yeah. I only had 2 minutes of actual history taking....when it's expected to go for around 9ish, with a limit of 10min. PSH. Everything about me was corrected, my posture, my speech, where I sat, the questions I asked... EVERYTHING. RAWR. I was under so much pressure, I just blanked by the end. >_<;; Fail.

This is a first.

LOCKED OUT ON MY 3RD DAY.

So this is what happened.

In the morning, I woke up at 7:15, got up 7:20 to eat, take a shower, brush my teeth and bum till my 8am lecture. I was skyping with a friend until around...7:55 and decide to leave for class...I make it there at 7:59 and there are a couple of other people there who are about to walk in.... They try and they are told to leave?! WHAT THE HECK. NOT EVEN LATE. OMGOSH. *sigh* So yeah, I got locked out of my like...2nd or 3rd real lecture. UGH. 8am's how I detest you right now.

Oh well. Today has been a generally good day other than that...just chilled with friends and tried studying the lecture notes instead during the lecture time, but ended up facebooking/youtubing. We're going boxing at 5! Whee. So I'ma try and nap for like...30 min then get up and get ready. =)
